Heather Brandon was born and raised in the central valley of California.  In 2000, she moved to Irvine, CA in Orange County to attend UC Irvine.  Never having been the party type or the center of social circles, she found it ironic when she was elected Social Chair of her sorority.  As time went by, Heather loved planning events and watching everyone have a great time.

In 2004, Heather graduated from UCI with a BA in Drama and English.  After moving back to Bakersfield after graduation, she started working on her teaching credential to fulfill her lifetime dream of teaching high school drama.  She also happened to meet her future husband.  While planning her own wedding, she relied on her experiences planning events in college.  Everyone expected Heather to be stressed out while planning her wedding and starting her teaching career.  Instead, she loved the process!  She loved putting together the design of the event, talking to vendors and figuring out ways to save money without sacrificing anything that she wanted.

In 2007, while filling the role of wedding coordinator for her sister-in-laws wedding, Heather realized that wedding planning was what she really wanted to do with her life.  She loved seeing everything go smoothly for the couple and making sure that they didn’t have anything to worry about as all the details fell into place.  The plans for Agape Weddings were made.

Heather is now a Certified Wedding Consultant who enjoys planning weddings in Central California and educating brides on the wedding planning process.
